It is a post-Sept 44 StuG both cuppola features and color distribution correspond to that date.
Blanked off front periscope, flat hatch position when opened and welded bar on the binocular port...Furthermore , the way is painted follow the Sept 44 orders: Bare red primer interior in all areas not visible from the outside, nice to see how they sparingly painted dunkelgelg just until the area covered by the plastic protective cover

German box for panzer III (found in a farm in a 9ss sector in Normandy)



Panzer IV driver's hatch ( found in Mortain in a 2nd SS panzer ''DAS REICH'' sector)



Panzer IV's clip (found in Mortain in a 2nd SS panzer ''DAS REICH'' sector)



Part of panther wheel (found in a farm in a 9ss panzer in Normandy)



British bren carrier's part (found in a 153rd field artillery regiment sector in Normandy)



Sherman's tracks and engine parts (found in Bretagne in France)

everything is correct - but I must say that protective covers for periscope wasnt plastic - they was made from glass.

Hi all !
I moved in Normandy and this is quite a change !
I found something very interesting for my collection. For free at the local dump yard. Was kept in a barn for 70 years, not dug-out. I am vey happy with it as it is the very right thing for me !!!



Only a few people know me and I don't post pics from my (huge) collection.

Finding this item at the dump is a bit of perversity as it was a chance over 100 millions and I can't be there every time. The dump has eyes but who knows about that tool except me and a few here ?
