Looking back over this thread that Carles reminded me about, I realised I'd never posted the later additions to my Panzer links collection - a Tiger II two-piece set and a link from an Elefant.

The Elefant link is in excellent condition, with no tread wear, so I think it must have been a hull-mounted spare. It came from Kielce, where at the start of the battle there were only fourteen Elefants still in existence. After it, there were only four. So it's quite special to me.

There's also this, which is a commemorative casting of a track link for a Universal Carrier.

      The text translates as:

"Last of 4,567,090 links cast, Ford Motor Company, Dagenham. 22 April 1944". Which I've just realised is 69 years ago to the day.

May I ask you to be careful when cleaning the parts? And if you could report us what colours and the way they were applied?
Looks like the base color of the interior is reddish I don´t know if it is rust or primer. It would be nice to see the colors of the outer part of the roof untouched... Thanks in advance

mudguard was nice adition to my little project:

I also looking info abut Stug. Abt. 1011, I`m pretty shure that those 3 Stug III Ausf G Late, from those details come from, belonged to that unit.

To FJCM I try always preserv original paint and this roofpart on foto seems to be not upsidedown as I said. So there is camo side on photo. Color cheme of those stugs was red yellow green here some samples:

but Some heavier stuff arrived home:

MG mount is very strange for Stug, have not seen it on any picture yet:

Not the most common shape for a SytuG III I agree...
