    King Tiger track link

    Evening Folks,

Here is my only tank part (so far). I believe it to be a King Tiger track link. It matches up with another one described on the forum.

I need to clean it up as it will be ensconsed in my 'play room' at some point.

Although I like it's natural state I feel I should knock the loose rust off and 'preserve' it. Any suggestions welcome!

      panzer items

      Hello,

I thought I'd add my very humble Panzer parts collection to this thread. I enjoy looking at all the great collection pieces. I hope to add more to mine. It's hard to find panzer items in the US (at least for me it is). Thanks to all for sharing your collections.

My photos contain a fuel can, Panzer Mark IV link, Panzer II link and pad from a SdKfz 251 or 11.

      Regards,
      Frank

            Hello Bullitt,

Thanks for your comment and replies (this one and my other thread)!

I got lucky on ebay. I bought these a few years ago. Shipping was a little less expensive back then. Also, I bought them from owners that already had them in the US.

            Thanks,
            Frank

I found this today: a towing hook for the Kettenrad, Kubelwagen, IF8,...

It looks very big in the photo... but I imagine it isn't. Do you have any period reference photo?

A fast clean and that track will look good.

                      Cheers

Somebody should recover that and donate it to the Tank Museum in the UK - it's just what their Jagdtiger needs!

                              some new parts recovered

                              Hi all

It has been a while that I have posted some novelties ....but this doesn't mean I didn't recover any parts. Some were dug out others were barnfinds.

here is a Panther Ausf G hatch that once belonged to a Panther from Hohenstaufen Pz Div. Several Panthers came to grief in that small town but only this part survived the cutting torches.
