Its a part of the fastening device for a pick axe - this is foor to secure the junction part from head and handle. It can be found on all kind of vehicles from Bundeswehr and other GOs ... depending on the khaki colour its from a car of the civil defence organisation "ZB" which used tis colour between 1958 and 1966.

On the second picture you`ve another part for the pick axe (upperleft edge). The other parts may hold other equipment ......

        Regards,

        Jens

I would say that the large bracket, with big holes, is for an axe. The blade edge would sit under the large fold of metal.

As far as I know this is Turmzielfernrohr for late variants of Panzerkampfwagen IV ausf. G?, H? J? Unfortunately some parts are missing and remained optics is very cloudy, probably broken.

Carles, these manometer boxes were used in different AT guns like the PAK 40.

                                Thank you for answer.
There should be letters like TZF.5x, where x is a small letter.
                                Can you say these letters?
