    Question.

Hey men. I want to ask something. Were a Tiger tanks in El Alamein? Can you prove it with some photos or another stuff? I have a bet with my friend.
    Thank you.

They definitely weren't, made their first appearance in Tunisia 1942, then in only very limited numbers, some wearing a pretty unique green finish.

Yes, I know the Tigers in Tunisia. Look, what in other sites are saying:
"In such circumstances Rommel, already promoted to a Field Marshal, could not rely on Mussolini's promises. After all he could not rely even on his own leadership. He understood the significance of taking Egypt better than Adolf Hitler and his aides. In Berlin they promised him among others to send in a regiment of the newest tanks Pz.Kpfw.T-VI Tiger and a brigade of the newest six-barrelled mortars Nebelwerfer, but he realised that they would not arrive in time"
The Tigers are not in time arrive, but otherwise they come later, uh?

The Tigers did not make an appearance in Alamein under any circumstances. They actually didn't make to Tunisia until 1943 and the first time used may have been at the earliest at the Kasserine counter-attack.
