    panzer tool?

Today I found a large and heavy bar on a field where in the past we found bits of german panzer and US shermans. It looks like some kind of tool. Sorry for the picture but it was rainy and foggy Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi,

It could be a tank tool ... it is very similar to a modern U.S. Army pry bar carried on tanks. It's called a tankers bar, and it's used for all sorts of heavy work, but especially prying sections of track when taking track apart or putting it back on the tank.

But, I'm not familiar with the exact tools used in WWII, so I can't say for sure that this is a WWII tank tool.

    Best,
    Greg

      Hi Greg,

thanks for the message. few months ago I found another piece of Sherman tank, not far from this bar. It might well be! Maybe I should go back and bring it to my garage
