Could this optic be off a tank i have seen a similar looking optic on a stug (was a pair) for firing the machine guns.Or is part of a sissor set up?

Re optic
Looks similar to the panzer optic but i believe that is actually one half of a pair of scissor or rabbit ear binoculars. It has the socket tube above the eyepiece
that joins the other that is normally thier. Also in one of the pics the eyepiece looks to be out of line with the rest wich may indicate why it is one half of a pair.......ie it was dropped or smashed in two at one stage in its life. The SF14
designation belongs to the pair set as well i believe.
