Panther V Hauffalise Pictures 1978 Interior

I have some interior pictures of the Panther V in Houffalize. I made them in 1978. You could get inside this tank. Its not possible annymore I was just 14 years old. Had just a small camera. Wish i made more pictures. If anybody have more from the interior please post. I also took a piece out off this tank
I am happy i did. Cause otherwise it would be rotten away. Its a piece of the 75 MM box. A shame that those big cats just rot away...

Me as a Panther V commander (With a big smile) 30 Years ago !!!
At this moment my Panther fever did start

    The 75 mm Gun

    The Driver seat

Here a view from inside under the turret

75 MM Granate holder from this Panther V

Here the back with original colour

Here the front again together. (Stupid i painted it like this well i was 14 jr.)
But it will not rot away now

23.1 litre Maybach HL 230 P30 V-12 petrol engine. Reconstruction of some pictures. 2007
Its still inside this big cat.

has sombody more from the inside of this Panther ?

      Yeah,great photos!!!
Last year i have made a tour and i have visited this tank.It is in sad condition. The only good thing is,that we can climb on it,thats not possible in a museum.

One question, what is the original color(s) on the holder?

      Best regards!

I think, inside this tank in 1978 some colours where green and some white.
The gearbox was green. its 30 years ago. Thats what i remember. The 75 MM holder was to rusty only red primer was still on it, could have been white also. This Panther is in a bad shape I hope they gonna take care of it some day. But it was really nice to be in this Panther. only ones in a life time.
