        Hello all,
These pics are of my last trip to Sinsheim 2 or 3 years ago.

I have been there 2 days ago. This Panther (they have 2 now) is mounted on a coin-operated machine. For 2,- EUR you could run the tracks, as well move the turret and the gun for 1 minute, also there is sound of the engine and tracks - its been worth this small investment!

Interesting! I was under the impression that they only had one Panther, the ausf.A... Does anyone have any background info on this 'other' Panther? Is it a new addition, or was it in storage?

                Thanks!

I spent an afternoon(way too short) at this museum in May. It's a fantastic place and should be on everyones "must see" list! I'll see if I can retrieve some pics. and post them later.

It was found while constructing a new road in the Ukraine. Blown by the crew while retreating. It will be left in as-found condition.

                          "Gran" -

Thanks so much for posting the additional pictures of that Panther! I remember a few years back reading about its discovery and recovery, but I didn't know it had made its way 'back' to Germany. I'm extremely relieved to learn that it is being properly preserved.

                          Thanks again,
                          Rob
