I am interested in your manual. In addition I have found a ebay shop selling ex-Bundeswehr MAUSER / H&K - Heckler & Koch tripod varieties for the MG 1-3 and the MG 53. The seller says that these are similar to the WW II type from the Wehrmacht Mg 34 and 42 and fit these weapons.
There are different types including AA tripod and Lafette Erdkampf.
