wheels - of what? Plz help to identify

I looked at a picture of the mountain howitzer too and thought at first it was a match. But if you look closely you will notice the size of the holes relative to the wheel is not the same, the location of the holes in relation to the rim is different, there is no raised rim around the holes on the howitzer, the hubs are not the same size and the number of bolts or rivets around the hub is different and the wheels in question show a scalloped edge and on the howitzer the edge is flat. So I don't think these are the same wheels.

Hi W,

Wow, very close, but when you look at the distance between the tyre and the holes you will see it is shorter than the same distance in OUR wheels.

Could there be several types of wheels for the same "kanone"? (by diff. manufacturers for instance?)
Because If not, I am starting to think we are looking at something rare here.

PS I found another photo of the Gebirgskanone L/22 and it appears they`re not those wheels for sure:

I think the general consensus is that these wheels belong to some artillery piece but which one?? I'm searching through all my books right now and hopefully I will find a exact match.

Guys,

These are definatley from a SdKfz 9 half-track. the same wheels have been grafted onto a 45mm Russian Anti-Tank gun (orginally would have had spoked wheels).

This is a big half-track, at 6'5" tall (1.98mtrs) I can just look into the drivers cab floor!

I concur, the wheels on the cart are inside out, you can see the impressions pressed into the metal.
