    Need help with this panzer "Prague"

    Hi guys!

    I need your
    Can anybody tell is this Italian or Spanish tank? And can you tell me some info about it.

        It seems to me, he is german .

        Such panzer you can see in Kubinka, 65 kilometers from Moscow :-).

          hi,

          this picture was taken in june 1940,
          on a beach in "Haute-Normandie", France.
          a PzKpfw 38(t) "B" or "C" model, belonging to Pz-Rgt 25.

                  The tank commander in the photo is German and is wearing the early Panzer Beret/Crash Helmet as Ade mentioned.

                  The Panzer 38(t) was the backbone for the Panzer Divisions from the beginning of the war until about 1942. If the Germans had not taken over Czechoslovakia in 1938 they would not have had half of their Panzer Divisions. Many of these tanks were used during the invasion of Russia...most, if not all, never returned.

                            It looks like a BESA machine gun in the hull front

                            I can't find a pic of the Czech machine gun it was derived from

                              Hi Mike, the Besa was the British made version of the Czech ZB53. The T38 was armed with the ZB53 as standard.
