Whoever he is, he documented himself well. It's indeed very interesting to see that he started from HJ and that he was already in a sort of officer's rank early on. Your photo collection is really great!
I also like his uniforms, but he often seems to be a little thin for his uniforms. Maybe as an effect of the war, he ate less?
Do you have any pics of him riding in the tank? That would be a great view! 
Now, if only someone can name him...
