Grouping Pz Rgt 3

In Kassel I found a nice grouping from a Panzer soldier. It consists of three docs (PAB, EK II and driver's licence) and two medals (PAB and EK II).

The PAB was awarded for the french campaign and signed by Veiel. I hope you like it!

Hi,
this a very interesting set of papers of a man from Panzer-Regiment 3 which belonged to the 2. Panzerdivision, a very reliable division which fought in the Westfront and Ostfront (including Kursk and Normandiefront). I known this is a Panzer forum and everybody already knows what I just wrote, but it's fun sometimes to remind the good things. And by the way, the 2. Panzerdivision is a lot more famous than 84. Infanteriedivision....(private joke, who knows knows).

very nice grouping!i had a huge grouping (SB,wehrstambuch,and 22 docs/papers) to this same regiment that i sold last year,im really regretting it now!

Thanks I am very happy with it. It's my first set for a Panzer soldier and these are hard to find I noticed.
I have a book about the 2 Pz. Div. and there are some pictures in it of the 1. Pz Rgt 3. It's great to read that book again!

my father was first in panzerreg 3, then he came to the 506.schwerePzAbtl

i always mixed the 3rd with the 33rd, he was in both of them

called the viennese division, the second one
