    Hi

I thought about bidding on that periscope, but I didn't have the money - how much did you have to pay for it?

I found that te full name is Panzerbeobachtungswinkelfernrohr 9 (2.5x19º), so this would indicate that it is from an observation vehicle. I couldn't find anything else than this, I'm afraid...

Hi Jorn, I think that you got a bargain with these optics.
Sorry, I cannot tell you which vehicle they belong to. I can tell you that the maker "CXN" is: Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie, Rathenow.
        Cheers, Ade.

          Hi Jorn,
          Nice buy!
If you break the German down it comes out,
          "armoured observation bent telescope"
          panzer Beobachtungs winkel fernrohr
I believe most of those were universal, and could be used in many different vehicles.

Would be nice if the whole world would use the Euro ...

By the way ... Nice optics .. I always love these items although they do not fit in my collecting area. Much better and better build that the English stuff that tends to fall apart when only picking it up.

Jørn and I will probably be using Euros pretty son, though

BTW, are the optics stil intact, or are there many scratches? How good (user-friendly and all) is the device?
