        John beat me to it. Looks like a captured British Universal Carrier. Compare with these.

                  This is, in fact, an unmodified (except for the markings!) and rare variation of the Canadian Universal Carrier which was utilized as a fast attack assault gun. The cannon on the front is British/Canadian. 20 of these were built, 10 went overseas, and 1 remains, being currently restored here in British Columbia...

                    Yes, this was a common thing in the west, the Germans captured a lot of these as the British had no way get them over the Channel. In the series of books, Panzer Colors, there is a picture of one with a field rigged triple mounted Panzerschrek.
                    There is a Bren Carrier in the Australian War Memorial with Japanese markings on it. They to used captured material.

                        Ladies and Gentlemen, I direct your attention to my photographer, Mr. Mark Gibson.
                        You will note that the flag is the Japanese naval Jack, and on the glasis plate you can see a faint symbol of the Navy anchor.
