    panzer IV tracks?

    Are these panzer IV tracks? if so what would be a fair value to pay for them?

      Yes they are either PzIII or IV tracks as to a fair price they are only worth scrap value cause they are rusted together.

      Scrap value is the weight of the steel on the scrap market. Dont ask me I do not know what he scrap values are.

        How come some dealers insist on charging stupid amounts for 1 link alone?

          I do believe those are Panzer IV track links...there are four of them still connected together. I found a whole length of these on the German/Luxembourg border. When sand blasted and repainted they will look good as new. The price is good right now but I suspect it will go much higher due to a high interest in dug up Panzer parts.

            Because people are stupid enough to pay it. or its a rare link like TIger 1 or 2 or an elfant or something like that.

            Or if it is a usable part ie an unused spare it can command a high price, because it can be used as a reference part to make New tracks from.
