My thoughts exactly, not fitted with those T-34 type tracks like in SPR. I wish I was ignorant sometimes, everytime I watch a war movie I find myself picking holes in it. I hope some director comes up with a reason to make a movie to put it in.

Not bad at all. Not 100% accurate either, but light years ahead of the SPR T-34 "Tiger I" conversions. It's the drive sprocket that bothers me the most. Otherwise, it's pretty convincing!

Anyone know what these guys used as a starting point?

I heard a rumor that Kevin Wheatcroft was building a full scale running Tiger I replica. Can anyone here confirm or deny this? Based on his knowledge and seemingly bottomless bank account he should be able to whip up something damn near perfect.

I take it you're talking about the "Aberdeen" Tiger I

Hmmm... that might be something totally unrelated. I had read somewhere a while back that he was somehow involved in the restoration of the Aberdeen Tiger I and that he had "borrowed" it to take measurements so to create a 1:1 replica. It could be that he acquired some Tiger I bits and is working on a Frankenstein Tiger I and that I have the story wrong...

Hadn't heard about the Tiger II parts.

Anyone else have more info they care to share?

Perhaps we can soon bump the number of surviving Tiger I ausf.E's to 7

I knew he had the Panthers (in various states of completion) but not the Tiger I or II. Can you fill us in on details of the T2 bits you mentioned?
