My Father bought 3 old zundapp ks 600's back in the 70's of which he put tobether a bike, Now i'm thinking of painting it in a wehrmacht field-painted style. Any advice on this?

if you want to go with the early look (until 1943) you can use German vehicle gray (dunkel grau) color or from 1943 on, the generic vehicle color was dunkelgelb ="ordnance tan", often misidentified on gear, such as binoculors as an AfricaKorps color... (which is actually a more brownish shade of tan). This tan color was used as a base coat for camoflage schemes, but on such small vehicles as motorcycles they ussually did not bother to add camoflage patterns.
I don't have the exact RLM colors but you can do a search on the internet under "RLM colors". The following link might also help:
