Panzer piece need ID please

Hello Panzerheadz-
I just picked up this piece of panzer (I think) certainly looks the part and is way heavier than you would think it is! It looks like some port window hatch of some kind, but since you guys always amaze me with your knowledge of the minutia, any chance that someone might know what it is and what its from? Floor tiles are 12" FYI.
