Panzer Crash Helmet? Interesting photo

As it is a rare image I am curious if this is an actual hard shell Panzer crash helmet reported to have been tested, a one off of a captured French helmet that a decal was applied to, or an NSSK crash helmet with Heer decal?

I venture a hypothesis. A tanker helmet from Austrian depots after the Anschluss. I remember in fact that the origins of the 2nd Panzerdivision dated back to the tank units of the Austrian republic equipped by Italy.
