        Nice links and pic, Matt. I agree, very painfull ! Too often you see this type of "restoration". Many museums have limited funding, so tidy up the exterior of the vehicle to bring in the crowds but leave the internals, like that Panther. In my mind, its criminal. These are historically important artifacts and should be given the respect they deserve. I realize it would take a lot of cash to get the interiors sorted, but what about a good spray of rust converter until such time as restoration can be performed ? That would not cost too much and would prevent further corrosion and deteriation.

        ps I think they've gone overboard with the ambush scheme on the Overloon Panther- the cam pattern was not originally applied to the roadwheels was it? No point, they are ALWAYS dirty.
