    Markings on gun

    I got this Mündungsbremse from a friend. He brought it back from the Trun scrapyard in 1970. Probably from a Stug or Pz IV. I’m wondering what the markings ( FL. 1622 m.l.f ) are standing for? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

    Fl is the gun number, probably the whole gun from muzzelbrake to breech.

    I believe the makers ordnance code is "mlt", = F. Elbersdrucke a@ Hagen, Westfalia.
