Thank You all for nice comments. It means a lot for me, because I know that I am doing a right job. I am a modeller mostly in 1:35 scale and all details are important for me, all screws must be correct, and everything must be done like was during ww2. No road on shortcut. The same technology, the same tools, the same screws, bolts etc.

I am looking for photos of Flak38 in camouflage for inspiration of painting. Maybe You have any and can publish them here, in this topic?

Yesterday I worked on suspension springs for Sd.Ah.51 trailer. It is mounted like it was in the past. Between metal springs are krygielite plates, also I used correct screws with metal rod clips. Painted in red oxide primer. Orthodox renovation

But I made an mistake. Thats why we need to take a lot of photos before and during the restorstion. One spring schould be placed in opposite side. Because in this place is mountet special climp to hold on springs in one place. It must be attached at the other side of swingarm. I must open all suspension springs, but 10 minutes later the wrong spring was placed correctly.

This thread, along with the excellent 'Panzer II Turret' are the threads that I always check to see the progress of on WAF, and have to take my hat off to both of you for your dedication and determination on what is obviously a real labour-of-love.

I am simply amazed at how many original parts and components that you are able to source on this, and am really looking forward to seeing the finished item.

ok, lets get back to the project.
Next was Halfmoon trigger system regeneration. Unfortunetly one edge of this part was missing, but there is no thing wich could not be repaired. Specially in polish garrage

Today I finished restoration of Flak38 shields. I repaired all missing like loops for camouflage net at the front of shields, also repaired hinge in "pizza" gun sight shield. Repaired missing parts inside of entral gun shield. But I decide to keep shrapnel hole in bottom right shield. I think it looks nice

I also repaired locker for Sd.Ah.51 trailer....
