    Solex JFF 2 carb.

    Just because it’s lockdown doesn’t mean it’s tools down.

    Made some progress on the FLAKPANZER Restoration Projects carbs today.

    Used the Caswell.com Black Oxide kit to treat the air box mount & carb top bolts.

    Now to track down the gaskets....anyone have any leads on who may have the carb top gaskets??

        Nice Clean-Up Glen,

        What type of Gaskets did they use for this ?

        We used to make Gaskets out of 'Job-cards' in the Forces - It was just the right material where a low pressure/low heat seal was required.

          Hi Glen,
          You and Rob are doing a terrific job on all those intricate parts, i follow you on Fb its a joy to follow the restoration of the Flakpanzer,can't wait to see it all back together and moving around under its own steam,In sure that maybach will put others to shame when she fires up
