    Insigne first model

    Hello,

Thank you for welcoming me to your forum, it is for me the opportunity to start with this subject:
I just brought in these 3 badges for the black wound, from the first model 39-45 (a priori).
I may have documented myself, doubt is always allowed.
The 3 pieces are made of brass even if on one of the pieces, gives the impression that it is made of iron as shown in the photo.
Concerning a badge (image C), the cross is not of the same model as the other 2, indeed the angles are more strict.
Can you give me your expert opinions on it's 3 badges.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Hi Feinzink59, welcome to the WAF forum, you certainly found the right place if you are interested in badges like this.

I can only agree with Hans, all 3 look like very nice originals.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi,

I can only agree with the above comments. I certainly prefer the high relief swas types as per examples A & B though as they are your more typical examples.

Fyi, I think example C actually has a decent chance of being a worn Silver Grade with a dark patina.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!
