            Very nice example, especially with the directly soldered on hardware with no plates.

              Hi Tom,

              Not quite, in that it's evident from some examples that this manufacturer actually created recesses for the hinge and catch to sit in, therefore imo negating the need for hinge/catch plates. The 92s also tend to be found with decent finish, probably implying a better quality feinzinc alloy was used (better for the finish and better for the solder).

                Thanks Mike, that is very helpful as I cannot really see the recesses from just these pics.

                Looking to pick up a nice VWA example of this maker for my collection so I can study it closer in hand.
