Hi everybody. I am looking for some opinions on this gold wound badge and also, if genuine, who the manufacturer might be. I bought it from a reputable dealer with a money back guarantee if it turns out to be fake. Thank in advance

I do not like it...
It has some odd finish to me, and I also do not like the hardware on this badge.
I would pass on this one.

I'd also pass but can not say it is an out-and-out fake. At best, I think this one may have been refinished as there are pits and dings under the finish (eg swas area) and as the hardware indicates it should be a zincer the finish in this condition just does not look right.

But I agree with Mike the finish looks strange

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I can't tell what it is made of, but if it had been zinc, it would surely have absorbed all the finish, but as said above, maybe re-finished, who knows.Comment
