BWB Rust & Hetzel?

Hello fellow collectors,

Kindly I would like to ask for your help again. Recently I got this BWB in a heavy damaged packet. The packet states that it is made bei Rust & Hetzel, Vienna.

Can someone please tell me if the badge and the packet match together?

When looking at the badge I noticed that the rear rivet on the helmet is missing. Could that be a red flag? Also the black colour is very flat, absolutely not shiny. I haven't seen that before.

Hello ,the colour being matte and the badge not having a rivet at the rear of the helmet does not make it a fake,i can not tell you if the badge and case match but i do think the badge is original Kevin.

Looks like a good Deschler & Sohn to me.

Can you tell me what indicates that it is made by Deschler? Any adtional oppinions on the maker or authentency?

The badge must be made from feritic material as it is magnetic.

Hi ,if it is a Deschler it should be larger than a normal badge Kevin.

thank you Kevin for the hint regarding the size. Yepp, it is defenetly larger than others. So if the badge is a Deschler than it should match the case below;-)

But in the case was another badge, please see pictures. I never questioned that the badge did not belong to the case. For me it looks like a matching set. Does anyone has an Idea on the maker of the badge?

Both items are nice but not a match set, Hetzel's BWB's has different design and are light weighted.
