    S&L for review

    Hey Guys,
Hoping you can help me out with this one. The finish is a bit odd. Appreciate your help.
Here is a similar pin, hinge and catch assembly I found: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=492206
    Thanks,
    Nathan

Are you sure its just polished Hans, looks refinished to me as the finish looks to be on all parts (hinge, catch, pin, solder, etc.). Also the wavy appearance of the finish on the reverse looks odd and would be consistent with being refinished IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I found this one with some more searching. Same style finish:

Yeah the finish must have been redone. I did think it was odd. Here's another: https://www.emedals.com/a-second-war...teinhauer-luck

Hi i get the feeling that it has been refinished and there does look to be silver shining through on the swaz although it could be the light Kevin.
