    Rare bwb

    Delivered today from Germany on my birthday .

    These are known as Cupal ... and that's the material .. similar to aluminum?
    Also .. WW1 bwb's from this maker are marked GM but this example is unmarked. I look forward to some discussion.

          Hi i have one that is the same as Normans but mine is marked GM, i did not know the maker i had it in my book as unknown, but now i do thanks Gelis 44 you can learn something new every day Kevin.

            There seems to be disagreement as to the manufacturer... it's possible the GM could be the last two letters of DRGM ..

            I'd like to compare a DRGM mark to GM ...

              Hi if you look through the rarest wound badge thread you will see one marked GM ,i think it was one of Ronny Rs Kevin.

                    CupAl is copper plated aluminum, a composite material alternative to brass, copper and/or tombak.
