AH 20th July Wound Badge

Can anyone throw some light on this medal I have.

Back in February 2001 I purchased this AH 20th July Wound Badge belonging to Admiral Jesko Von Puttkammer.

I purchased this medal from a guy called Stewart Wilson from the Old Brigade here in the UK.

The only provenance I have is the back and forth letters I've kept from Stewart regarding his procurement of it and a brief explanation of the makers mark on the back. The medal I have is makers mark 800/ 2.

Stewart told me that he was pursuing this medal along with other items that belonged to the Admiral. His cap, uniforms and various documents and that this set was located in Germany.

Anyway, roll the clock forward to 2018 and I was a little depressed to discover that auction houses and dealers aren't that impressed with it. Not that they say it is fake, they just don't know.

So I was hoping if anyone could advise on it's authenticity or phoneyness.
