I don't know what it is with this badge. The catch/hinge variation is correct with this maker logo but the badge is missing so much details both on front and backside and also the swastika looks so odd on the front.
I initially thought it was repainted with an overdose of paint but the front tells otherwise. I am not 100% sure but it would definitely not end up in my collection.

Edit: I know nothing about the package so I leave that to the experts.

Might just be the scanner used to take the photo? Do you have a camera ?

            I'd bet it was repainted.

              Good evening friends,

Finish is good. I've made the acetone test and everything is ok.

And the details are exactly what you would expect of Orth BWB bagdes ..

              All the best

Can you post better pics instead of the scans? On these pics it seems as if many details are missing as well as the swastika which looks odd. better pics could take away doubt.

Sometime photos deceive and has this bizarre effect.

Both items are very nice and you don't see often such condition of the Hobacher-Orth
                  hollow issues.
