        I was searching a bit online and found a couple of sites were they posted photo's of VWA with mm 28. But I couldn't see the photo's cause I'm not registered to those sites. Can't tell you if it's authentic, my knowledge isn't at that level yet.

          It's a good Wound Badge by Eugen Schmidhäußler of Pforzheim, but possibly refinished.

            Hi Kyle,

            I agree with Tom, its a fine original. The finish also looks OK to me on the closeups, but the overall pics of the obverse and reverse does look a little suspect for some reason. Maybe some different pics in a different light would help us out here.

                  Even though the badge looks like an original I still feel that something is wrong. As Thomas said, perhaps it's the lighting which makes it look odd so probably pics in daylight would take away the last bits of doubt.

                    When I look at it the reverse it does look repaired. However the front looks nice with excellent patina.
