Thoughts on this Black Wound Badge please

    Hi All,

Once again I come searching for advice on a piece of WW2 German Militaria...

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with this early war Black Wound Badge but I wanted to run it by the experts first for a definite thumbs up.

It shows the usual scuffing to the paint and wear to the brass that you would expect and is a non maker marked example.

Thanks in advance from a paranoid collector!

    Best,

    Simon

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Many thanks for your comments, gentlemen. I'm obviously very pleased that you've given it the thumbs up.

Strangely, I think the early black Wound Badges look good with some scuffing to the paint and the brass showing through.

I'm planning on getting this framed up with some other pieces of German, Italian and British insignia, and will be sure to post the finished result on the forum.

          Best!

          Simon
