This was part of a large grouping of awards brought back by a British veteran he brought back this along with several km awards and a silver sc without swords rgds Dave

Hello I too am not a big wound badge nut and have many vet acquired pieces in the last 40 years but I have never seen a cut out 36-39 period wound badge. I like the look of it and why not, the producers had left over ww1 may have just added a swaz to the production of the already existing cut outs. TPK
