[QUOTE=Andreas Klein;6254509 The script is/was written in way that there is no chance to translate it into english because alot of things are shown with the original wartime documents. Doing the layout i try to remove them with real text so that from a technical point of view a translation has a chance but i can't promis it if it will be done finallly. [/QUOTE]
I have done it several times with my books and it qworks to the full satisfaction of the reader, be it German ones or English speaking ones. Of course, one does not translate the complete German text, nobody (or nearly nobody is reading that) If somebody writes a book about the origins of the First or Second World War he does not put photos of all documents in or translates them.
What is normally done is to show the document as a reference and have an English summary next to it or in the text. The only condition that is needed withoy doubt is somebody who fully understand the German content and also has a fairly good command of the English language, especially in respect to the matter at hand.
So it can be done, it has been done before. It is only a question of "Do you want to?"
