Wound Badge (black) - real or fake

I have this black wound bage from 14-18 of which I'm not sure it is authentic. Can someone here help me? And if it's not authentic how can you see it?

Best to rotate pictures prior to download for answers, so photos are North south rather than east west elevations. (whenever possible)appears original to me. There are many different types of configurations.
