GWB with desription

Hi guys,

I was able to secure this nicely worn tombac GWB to my collection. I think it´s unmarked "30", isn´t it? The most atractive for me is the desrciption on the backside, where is written: Laz. Pfronten Ried Allgäu, 17. 2. 1944, Gefr. Willi Hamm. I found the place, where the lazaret was located - it´s in the south Bavaria. I wish I could find out more about him, but it´s a needle in the haystack.

Thanks for your inputs guys. Ronny, you´re not the only person saying it´s just the well worn silver grade. In hand it has clearly different coloration than a silver one. Anyway it does not bother me since I got it for a a very fair price anyway
