Anders L, were these owned by a collector who cleand HIS house and found them he had put away prior , or was someone cleaning someone elses house, and found them in the house they were cleaning ,when cleaning it? Could you please post front and back shots of them all for a closer look?(any marks on the black and or the silver??) Thanks .

Juoneen, the man that owned them are dead.... His children asked me if I can see whats right and whats not. They do NOT want to sell any fakes.

The gold are marked L14 on the back.
Here are some more pics of the silver and black.

The silver is 100%. I think the black is also good. Regards, Ron.

To be honest Im not very keen on your black one. Dots between swords handles are quite flat which is not a good sign for me altough hardware looks believable.

I have no problems with the black one imo a classic standard piece. Because of the finish and different makers the can be found in alot different striking qualities.
                      Best regards, Andreas

Would you mind posting shots of the gold anyway with a good one of the front, and back with pin open and..... maybe a closer shot of the 14mark, and maybe the hook and hinge? Do your friends have any ideas where these badges could have come from, before they were found??Was someone ther at one time a collector of these type things or?
I know The L/14 has been judged as fake, but, I have an interest in seeing it closer just for curiositys sake, so thanks for your induldgence .

                          Here you go Juoneen.
The owner (that have passed away) was a collector of medals and weapons.
But not German medals, maybe he got these in a trade or bought them somewhere. The family do not know...
