Wild Wound Badge Weekend

Nice job scoring all four. You must of put in a little overtime work in coming up with this
Quad Squad. Great pickup, there once was a time that come Monday morning I would be deserving a silver or gold for one of those regretful 'Lost weekends.

It's great when the hunting is good. It's been a WB dry spell for a few weeks. The best part is I only have $150 wrapped up in the group. The black wound badges were flea market picks, the B.H. Mayer was in an antique mall. The Carl Wild was a trade for a US 80mm mortar round (which was a $10 flea market find)! Yes it's great to find a badge, but to pay so little makes it a victory! It just goes to show if you hunt the shops and flea markets instead of buying from military dealers it can pay off big. It's just tougher hunting.

Congratulations , and you got that right. Many times there is much to be found off the usual beaten track away from the same old show dealers with the same old faces and overpriced stuff they have carried around for years . Sometimes if you are lucky another customer occasionally will overhear you talking when you are paying, and may invite you over to buy some stuff their dad Brought back, so it pays to be enterprising as clearly your deals were just that.. KUDOS AGAIN
