Grouping of Wound badges for discussion

    Hi folks,

Got a big grouping in and now going through the badges.

A few neat ones.. one marked L/16 and the other 65.

Any red flags? Post here or shoot me a PM

Not up on my badges sorry to say.

    Thanks for any info... J

I can only agree, all appear to be originals. he only possibly (repeat possible) issue I have is that the gauge of the pin on the 1st pattern 39er (which looks like it may be a Silver Grade) appears to be fairly thin, possibly (repeat possibly) indicating an old pin replacement. How tight or sloppy the main pin is and whether there are any anomalous pin-end imprints at the base of the hinge may help determine this one way or the other.

Note that it looks like your top left example is a "100".

              Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Nice collection, I especially like the WW1 Silver Cut-Out badge, I am trying to find a nice one of those but still the hunt goes on.

Since Im out of touch on these..

What would some of these maker marked ones L/16 and 65 go for?

I think the basic unmarked ones are in the $35-55 range.

                    The WW1 cut out?

                    Spanish Civil war?

                    thanks
