L/56 marked Imperial Wound badge - opinions?

I am considering buying this one. The mark is L/56. What do you guys think? I have never seen an LDO-marked one but it would stand to reason that these would be produced as replacements during 3rd Reich period. Badge itself looks legit. Anyone else owns one like this or can offer any opinion? Thanks!
