    Wound Badge help

    Hi Guys
Hey i have these two Ww1 wound badges and was hoping to get some feedback on them. The one on the left is a screw back version of the Gold wound badge and the other I'm thinking may be another Gold.So here are my questions for the experts.
    1) The Gold badge on the left is this a common style Gold badge or scarce
    2) Average selling price for the screw back
    3) The badge on the right is it actually gold or maybe silver?
    3) Value on the one on the right
The reason Im asking current pricing is that these are going to be offered for sale soon. Thanks Jay

My opinion is that the one on the right is a Silver class. The silver wash appears to be visible in the recesses and the background.

        Hello Jay,

The right one is a Silver Badge and this can be seen just as Kent explained.
No screw back version of a Wound Badge in any grade can be called a common style IMO.

I am not the right person to discuss prices with since i do not really collect Imperial WB´s eventhough some then do sneak in to my collection occasionally.
        Regards
        Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
