the wound badge looks a good one,but from the photo its looks a if its had some rust treatment,or a touch of paint

This is my first WB, so I do not know how it should look, but my first impression too, is marks from rust.
But the most important thing, is that its genuine... it does not have to be perfekt...

For me its a original WB that someone have cleaned from some rust
Normaly it should be a more smoth black finish

It's clear that mine has been restored, at some point. A rust/paint job. It would have been nice to have one as good as yours. I will find a better one some day. I'm not in a hurry, the most important thing, is that it's genuine.
