Not sure if this is a Gold or Silver Wound Badge. Any help?

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if this is a gold or silver wound badge. It looks like it had a gold wash on it and it shows on the bottom of the badge. But I'm not too sure if my lighting is playing tricks on me or what the deal is. The front looks like it has gold wash on the low points of the badge. The back of the badge doesn't look like it has any gold wash on it so that's why I'm wondering if it could've been a silver wound badge. Any ideas? Thanks.

The wound badge forum would have been a better place to ask. Having said that, I would go with silver.

I'm with Don. A very worn silver wound badge in zinc by Klein. The "goldish" color you see is more or less tarnish from the original brennlac silver finish.
