Got this set today. From my point of view everything is ok. But would like to hear additional opinions.

The only question - is it original paint or could it be repainted?

The badge looks pretty good...but ones first impression is that it has been repainted...certainly some must have survived in such unissued condition but as we frequently do not see them quite like this it makes one suspicious.

Not saying it is repainted, but maybe those with more knowleadge in the wound badge area can lead the discussion.

I don't see any problem with that black finisch, beautiful badge IMO. Also pretty hard to find marker -Förster & Barth
