A older man in my street gave it to me couple of days ago but i have no history about it.
I am only in to WWII so Imperial things i dont know so much about.
Well we have to see if there is some more inputs on this one

I tend to like this one as well...the detailing and pebbling seem period and the hardware looks good...maybe it is just the photo but perhaps the crimped pin hinge may have been re-attached at some point.
IMO an original and hopefully others will chime in as well.

The badge is fine - a nice original.
It certainly appears silver in the pics (is it steel?), but there is also some dark material in recesses that looks like it has flaked off, so I'm not sure if this is crud, patina or the remnants of a faded Black finish on steel though.
