Just picked up this SWB and would be grateful for opinions please. MM is L/21. It looks good to me but am new to this so would welcome some expert opinions.

Doesn't mean always if a mark or a part of hardware encountered in other original awards always is safe, ie the Deumer square block hinge etc...

The fact is that sometimes one must be open minded and get qlues from makers repertoar of awards that they made. If one only studies one type of award like the WB´s there are very little confirmations of the variations if one not cross over to awards such as KvK´s, PAB´s, IAB´s, GAB´s EK´s etc in regards of set ups and makermarks.

One can´t go by gut feeling and downrate a award just because one don´t personally like it...

I agree knowing other decorations can help in the area of interest but my point is sometimes is not a correct way and vice versa...

Speaking this maker if you don't know is highly faked, 4 types exist to my knowledge...2 die cast like the above but fortunate the markings with some other minor issues is the giveaway, one other has the Glaser/Souval design and is identical to the original design with a hardware who is looking close to same early PAB's and my point is like said above this doesn't mean that is an original or variation award, a fake is fake...

I think nobody has fake frenzy and don't underestimate the gut feeling...

Shure Chris. Everyone can from now on send me their zinc L/21´s with intergrated hardware, after all they are fake according to some
