Golden Wound Badge MM28 LDO box

    Hey Guys!
I want to show you all my new addition to the family

First of all I want to say that this piece has lost almost 99% of it's golden finish.
I liked it anyway, so I bought it ^^
It's a Zinc, Golden Wound Badge, as the only part that's still gold is the pin. Maker marked 28 (Eugen Schmidthaussier, Pforzheim)

The LDO box came with the Badge. It looks genuine to me, but I'm not the expert haha
The top-lid shows the impression of the badge, but I noticed if you look closely, you can see an EK1 also

The piece of cloth on the bottom piece is re-done. The seller said it was done pre-1945.

IMO the badge hasn't got any major damage spots. Shame it has lost all of it's Golden finnish..

By the way, the seller was Klaus Butschek
Klaus, if you read this, thanks for the quick delivery!!

nuf said, here are some pics

note: the golden paint on the needle isn't that visable on the pics, but it's there

thanks for the reaction. he claimed the bottom was replaced pre-1945. so I'll have to do the blacklight test. Only problem, don't have a blacklight jet

              but thanks anyway!
